“Wasserwelten”
(German, English: worlds of water) is a collection of works painted in acrylic on canvas, comprising at its core the different appearances of the ocean. The exhibition attempts a marriage between untamed nature and controlled scientific principle. The wildness and fluidity of the ocean is deconstructed into its intrinsic colors and on canvas rebuild into geometrical shapes or structures. Various paintings show layers of dynamic blues interwoven with static gold or copper accents representing nature’s elements.
